What replaced my adolescent terror of boys was a deep-seated distrust of men that stayed with me for a long while. Really, it stayed with me until I got engaged a few years ago. Perhaps distrust is just another form of terror, or vice versa.
I Remembered once we were talking I had been reading some of your articles. And he was really happy and said to you, "See, you have your readers." I could tell his encouragement and believing in you. That's the support one needs from his/her partner. You are lucky you have that :)
